PSX sheds 65.20 points to close at 42,561.27 points
A total of 177,984,850 shares were traded compared to the trade 177,567,170 shares
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday witnessed bearish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 42,561.27 points as compared to 42,626.47 points on the last working day with the negative change of 65.20 points (0.15%).
A total of 177,984,850 shares were traded compared to the trade 177,567,170 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs9.289 billion as compared to Rs6.812 billion during last trading day.
Total 352 companies transacted shares in the Stock Market Wednesday, out of which 139 recorded gain and 189 sustained losses whereas the share price of 24 companies remained unchanged.
The three top traded companies were, Oil and Gas Dev with a volume of 19,238,400 shares and price per share of Rs148.91, Maple Leaf with a volume of 9,012,000 and price per share of Rs21.81 and Unity Foods Ltd with a volume of 8,514,000 and price per share of Rs15.10.
Gatron Ind recorded the maximum increase of Rs22.93 per share, closing at Rs499 whereas Mari Petroleum was runner up with the increase of Rs15.84 per share, closing at Rs1454.5.
Pak Tobacco recorded maximum decrease of Rs79 per share, closing at Rs2150 whereas Mehmood Tex. decreases Rs24 per share closing at Rs417.
