Rupee gains 15 paisa against dollar in open market
In the interbank market, the greenback fell 2 paisa to close at 155.88.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistani rupee on Thursday gained its strength by 15 paisa and hit Rs156.10 against the US dollar in the open market.
In the interbank market, the greenback fell 2 paisa to close at 155.88.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro appreciated by Rs0.15 and was traded at Rs173.51 against the last closing of Rs173.36.
The exchange rate of Japanese Yen remained stable and was traded at Rs1.43 whereas the increase of Rs0.51 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs201.01 as compared to last closing of Rs200.50.
Exchange rate of UAE Dirham remained stable at Rs42.44 while the same trend was observed in the rate of Saudi Rayal which was traded at Rs41.56, the data revealed.
