Rupee registers fresh gains against US dollar in interbank market
In the interbank market, the green back remained stable to close at 156.60.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The US dollar on Wednesday depreciated against the Pakistani rupee by 13 paisa in the interbank market and closed at Rs156.32, against last session s closing of Rs156.45 per US dollar.

On Tuesday, the US dollar depreciated against the Pakistani rupee by 20 paisa in the open market and closed at Rs156.60, against last session s closing of Rs156.80 per US dollar, while in the interbank market, the green back appreciated by 4 paisa to close at 156.45.
On Monday, the US dollar depreciated against the Pakistani rupee by 12 paisa in the interbank market and closed at Rs156.41, against last session s closing of Rs156.53 per US dollar.
In the open market, the green back plunges by 10 paisa to close at 156.80.
The rupee endured a relatively dull trading session with very little intraday movement, trading in a range of 17 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 156.55 and an intraday Low offer of 156.41.
Meanwhile, the currency gained 61 paisa against the Pound Sterling as the day s closing quote stood at PKR 192.46 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 193.07 per GBP.
Similarly, PKR s value strengthened by 27 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 171.61 at the interbank today.
