NADRA and other departments are cooperating in revealing the data of nontax payers: FBR

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has clarified that last date of asset declaration is June 30 and it would not be extended.

The tax collection authority said people must inform FBR about undeclared assets as FBR has got data of nontax payers.

FBR said banks, NADRA and other departments are cooperating in revealing the data of nontax payers. It said the purpose of this cooperation is to nominate those having undeclared businesses.

FBR said the system for benami laws would be active from July 1 this year. It added that strict action would be taken against those who did not declare their assets and all declared assets would be kept secret.
