Trading resumes at PSX after suspension due to technical fault
Initially, the fault was reported in the systems of 25 brokers.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Trading on Thursday resumed at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) after being suspended for more than 90 minutes over a technical issue.
Initially, the fault was reported in the systems of 25 brokers, but the whole system was shut down by the administration to resolve the issue.
Today, investors were taking a closer look at stock market trends when the issue was reported. Even after resolution of the fault, it was trading at higher share prices.
However, PSX has announced to extend the market closure timing by 30 minutes to adjust the lost trading time. Thereby, the market will be closed at 4pm against the routine scheduled time of 3:30pm.
PSX benchmark KSE 100 index was up 328 points to 36,832 points around noon.
