Dollar closes at Rs 137.84 in interbank market
After this decline, the dollar value was recorded at Rs137.50 in interbank market.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The value of US dollar on Monday declined by Rs1.21, against Pakistani rupee, in interbank market.
Following a 0.87 percent decline the dollar value was recorded at Rs137.84 in interbank market while Rs139 in the open market. However, its value is fluctuating between Rs136.75 and Rs139.
On Friday, dollar jumped by 3.7% (Rs 2.60).
The experts were of the view that the decrease in the dollar value was seen after the monetary policy approved (November 30) that has proposed an increase of 1.5 percent in interest rate on imports.
