Summary ECC has decided to negotiate with the sugar industry owners regarding their issues.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Friday has approved to gift forty thousand metric tons of wheat worth 1.73billion to Afghanistan.
Federal Finance Minister Asad Umar presided over an emergency meeting of ECC that was held in Islamabad today (Friday).
According to sources, the meeting reviewed problems being faced by the sugar mills owners and has decided to negotiate with the sugar industry owners.
The meeting also reviewed the issue of delay in payment by the mills owners to the sugarcane growers.
