ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday has increased the fuel adjustment charges by 20 paisa per unit.

According to details, fuel adjustment has been made in the bills for the month of September.

The increase in unit price will be levied in the bills of November.

With this increase, the government has put Rs 2.5 billion additional burden on the electricity consumers.

It is to be mentioned here that on Monday, the participants in ECC meeting had deferred the decision of hike in the power tariff by Rs3.75 per unit.
