Banks to remain closed for public today
Banks are closed for the general public but not for their employees.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is observing 1st January 2018 as a bank holiday and it will remain shut for all sort of public dealing.
A press release issued on Wednesday said that the central bank of Pakistan will observe a bank holiday and will not entertain public on the upcoming Monday.
Moreover, all banks, including Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MBFs) shall, therefore, remain shut for public dealing on the same date.
