Summary for increase in petroleum prices forwarded to petroleum ministry
Petrol price expected to increase by Rs 1.83 per litre if summary gets approved
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday forwarded summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources regarding an increase of Rs 8.60 in the prices of petroleum products for the month of July, reported Dunya News.
According to the summary, the price of petroleum is expected to increase by Rs 1.83 per litre from July 1 onwards. The price of high speed diesel is expected to rise by Rs 3.75 per litre whereas kerosene oil price shall rise by Rs 8.60 per litre.
The price of high octane shall be increased by Rs 3.50 per litre whereas the price of light diesel shall rise by Rs 5.37 per litre if the summary gets approved.
Sources indicated that Ministry of Finance shall make the announcement regarding the increase in the prices of petroleum products after getting approval from Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
