HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong and Shanghai were down in the opening minutes of trade Friday after US stocks finished slightly lower.
The Hang Seng Index was down 0.27 percent, or 55.4 points, at 20,341.71.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.16 percent, or 4.47 points, to 2,817.97, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, eased 0.25 percent, or 4.44 points, to 1,804.49.
