Summary Most of the new companies would belong to the energy sector, says Nadeem Naqvi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Different companies worth USD 1 billion are likely to be listed in Pakistan Stock Exchange in 2018, reported Tuesday.
While exclusively talking to Dunya News, PSX Managing Director (MD), Nadeem Naqvi said that most of the new companies would belong to the energy sector. The companies will include power distribution-related entities, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and coal drilling companies, he said.
According to the experts, inclusion of new enterprises in the stock exchange will not add to worth of existing companies’ shares but spur investment from foreigners also.
The managing director is touring London to attend Pakistan Investment Conference.
