Summary Price is likely to be slashed further in the coming days, say experts
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Fertilizers companies have slashed prices of Urea bags by Rs 60 each after gas prices were revised, Dunya News reported Monday.
Sources privy to the fertilizers industries said that production cost decreased owing to lessened gas tariff. Ureau bag now costs Rs 1,790 from the previous Rs 1,850.
Experts have said that the price is likely to be slashed further in the coming days as the country has enough stocks of Urea. Farmers are reaping benefits of lessened production cost of different crops including cotton, rice and sugarcane.
