Summary Ishaq Dar says country's economy has improved; int'l organisations acknowledging the fact

FRANKFURT (Dunya News) – During the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank, it was approved that Pakistan will be provided $4 billion between 2016-2018, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

While addressing the annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank in Frankfurt, Germany, Federal Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan’s economy has improved and that international organisations are acknowledging this development. He added that by boosting the economic growth, employment in the country will increase whereas poverty will be reduced.

Ishaq Dar said that the Income support programme in the country is the biggest program of the social sector. He also met with the Chinese delegation and had conversation in regards to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
