Summary Tea worth Rs 29 billion was imported
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Eatables worth Rs 272 billion were imported in July-December 2015, Dunya News reported Monday.
According to the official statistics, edible oil worth Rs 86 billion was imported in July to December period of the last year. Pulses worth Rs 27 billion were imported in the said period of six months.
The hiked prices in international markets caused the surge in comparison to last year’s spending, Rs 19 billion.

Tea worth Rs 29 billion was imported in July-December 2015. Moreover, powdered milk worth Rs 12 billion was imported.
