Summary Agreement was signed between the two sides in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) --The World Bank will provide 500 million dollars to Pakistan for power sector reforms. In this connection, an agreement was signed between the two sides in Islamabad on Friday evening, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, the amount is being provided under Development Policy Credit which aims at supporting Pakistan’s goal of developing an efficient and consumer oriented electric power system. Speaking on this occasion, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the amount would be utilised for generation, proper evacuation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
