TOKYO (AFP) - Tokyo shares lost 1.14 percent Monday morning as the yen strengthened and investors await US jobs data and a Bank of Japan business survey this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index ended the morning 203.39 points lower at 17,677.12, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares was down 0.67 percent, or 9.77 points, at 1,444.04.
