LONDON (AFP) - Europe s stock markets rebounded somewhat in opening deals on Wednesday, clawing back some of their China-inspired losses from the previous session.

In initial trade, London s benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies rose 0.36 percent to 6,079.97 points, Frankfurt s DAX 30 won 0.45 percent to 10,060.31 and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.37 percent to 4,558 points.

The region s equities had tumbled on Tuesday as weak manufacturing data increased concerns about the flagging Chinese economy.

Asian stocks were locked in a fresh round of volatility Wednesday, as further evidence of slowing growth in China s economy cast fresh gloom over global markets.
