Summary Farmers said that expensive fertilizers will hike production costs

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Fertilizer companies have hiked prices of urea by at least Rs 160 per bag after gas prices were increased.

The government had issued a notification of at least 60 percent increased gas prices for fertilizer sector. A 50 kilogram (Kg) is priced at Rs 1,994 instead of Rs 1,835.

Farmers said that expensive fertilizers will hike production costs. The act will lead to increase in prices of crops.
