Summary Initial revenue of 50 Million Dollars is estimated by the privatization of heavy Electrical Complex

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has decided to finalize the privatization of Habib Bank on 12 April while the privatization of National Power Construction Company will be done in May and the process of privatizing FESCO will be done before November.

Finance ministry resources told Dunya News that the road show for this purpose will start from 29 March. Ministry is expecting the revenue of 70 million Dollars from the privatization of Habib Bank Limited (HBL).

The issue of Heavy Electrical Complex’s privatization will be presented again in front of Cabinet’s Committee for Privatization. The meeting of Privatization Board will also be held soon.

An initial revenue of 50 Million Dollars is estimated by the privatization of heavy Electrical Complex. Financial advisors have already been appointed for the privatization of many companies including PIA, LESCO and IESCO.

Government has already privatized Allied Bank, PPL and UBL in this year. According to Finance ministry authorities, a revenue of one billion Dollars is expected by the privatization of these companies during this fiscal year.
