LONDON: (AFP) - Europe s main stock markets closed with solid gains on Tuesday, with London s benchmark FTSE 100 index rising 0.56 percent to end the day at 6,709.13 points.
Frankfurt s DAX 30 motored ahead 1.61 percent to 9,456.53 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 climbed 0.86 percent to 4,262.38 points.
