KARACHI (Web Desk) - Due to ongoing political crisis in the country, the rupee further fell by 69 paisas to 101.80 against the US currency in early trade, Dunya News reported.
In Interbank Forex Market, the dollar rate increased by Rs 2.94 during the last two weeks.
Earlier on Thursday, the rupee ended at 101.00/101.06 against the dollar, compared with Wednesday's close of 100.10/100.20.
Analysts says the situation in open and interbank markets would remain uncertain in coming days if current political scenario continues to prevail in the federal capital due to ongoing protests by Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri.
