Summary GSP Plus status will allow almost twenty percent of Pakistani exports to enter the EU markets.
RIYADH (Web Desk) - Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan said on Sunday that Pakistan is not considering to grant Most Favoured Nation status to India.
In an interview with Arab News, he said we do not talk about Most Favoured Nation any more.
He, however, said Pakistan and India have agreed to work together and boost commercial relations by giving non-discriminatory market access status to each other.
To a question, the minister said the two countries have made progress on the issue of purchasing electricity from India.
He said the GSP Plus status will allow almost twenty percent of Pakistani exports to enter the EU market at zero tariff and at seventy percent preferential rates.
He said the GSP Plus status award shows the confidence of international markets in the excellent quality of Pakistani products.
