LONDON (AFP) - Europe s main stock markets steadied at the start of trading on Friday ahead of US jobs data and following a rollercoaster week for investors caused by the Ukraine crisis.
London s benchmark FTSE 100 index edged up 0.02 percent to 6,790.09 points and Frankfurt s DAX 30 nudged down 0.05 percent to 9,538.45 points.
In Paris, the CAC 40 dipped 0.01 percent to 4,416.43 compared with Thursday s closing values.
