Indo-Pak Young Entrepreneurs Summit on Oct 29

Summary Summit aimed at finding ways and means for promotion of bilateral trade.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Indo-Pak Young Entrepreneurs Summit aimed at finding ways and means for promotion of bilateral trade between the two countries will take place here on October, 29.

Summit will be organized by The Young Entrepreneurs Forum (YEF) of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) in association with Aman Ki Asha and in partnership with Young Indians (Yi) and Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE).

About 30 young entrepreneurs, professionals and change makers from India will attend the Summit.

Shaban Khalid, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Chairman YEF said that bilateral trade between Pakistan and India  can be taken from current US$ 2.5 billion to USD$ 10 billion per annum by taking measures to facilitate the businessmen of both countries.

He held that both sides need to reinvent and reshape their bilateral ties by dismantling the walls of mistrust and removing misperceptions. He noted  the regular interactions, especially between the young entrepreneurs of both countries can render pivotal contribution towards gradually demolishing trade barriers as well as building mutual confidence.

He hoped the summit will bring the youth of two nations on a common platform to share ideas on building bridges and exploring new trade opportunities.
