ISLAMABAD (Online): Under the directions of Federal minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, zero rating facility has been restored on various dairy products, stationery, and other packing items.
According to the FBR notification, the import and supply of goods and raw materials, packing materials, sub-components, components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies imported or purchased locally for the manufacture of the said goods shall be charged to sales tax at the rate of zero percent.
The facility has also been restored for dairy products including, yogurt, milk, flavored milk, cheese, butter, cream, desi ghee, milk cream concentrated and added sugar or other sweetening matter, fat filled milk, stationery items and bicycles.
