Bulls prevail in Karachi stocks this week

Bullish trend was witnessed at Karachi stock market this week as the benchmark 100 index surged by 239 points collectively to close at 9306.The KSE-100 index witnessed addition of 237 points at the start of business week on Monday, whereas, it lowered by 159 points in next two days. Buying was recorded on Thursday and Friday amid expectations of decrease in interest rate next week. Therefore, the index rose again by 161 points. The foreign investors invested $35.4 million in Pakistani markets while withdrew $17.5 million.
