The NWFP government has decided not to participate in the meeting of National Finance Commission (NFC) to be held on November 18 in Karachi, Dunya News reported on Saturday. According to sources, meeting of NFC committee was held in Peshawar in which important issues including NFC award cam under discussion. Due to non-payment of arrears of Rs 10 billion by the Federal government and failure to address reservations of NWFP government on NFC Award, the provincial government decided not to take part in NFC meeting on November 18 in Karachi. On the other hand, NWFPs NFC committee spokesman Sareer Ahmed said that he has no information in this regard.
