Summary Pakistan’s fertilizers import has decreased by about 61 percent in 2012.
ISLAMABAD: The import of fertilizers was recorded 61 percent reduced as compared to last financial year as some 625,000 ton fertilizers was imported during first six months of fiscal year.
Total 340 million dollars were utilized on the import of fertilizers. During the same span of last financial year some 1600,000 ton fertilizers was imported with the cost of 800 million dollars.
