FRANKFURT: Inflation in Germany, Europe's biggest economy, eased to 1.9 percent in November from 2.0 percent in October, official data showed on Wednesday.
On a monthly basis, the German consumer price index (CPI) also slipped by 0.1 percent last month, according to a final data confirming a preliminary flash estimate released at the end of November.
Using the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), the ECB's inflation yardstick, the rate of inflation in Germany similarly eased to 1.9 percent in November from 2.1 percent in October, the national statistics office Destatis said in a statement.
