Inflation based on Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) reached at 6.06 percent with an increase of 0.06 percent in the week ended on October 15, Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) reported on Saturday. Inflation for income group of Rs 3,000 increased by 5.9 percent and for income group of Rs 12,000 by 7.1 percent. According to SPI, prices of 29 out of 53 edible items were increased, 10 decreased while 24 commodities remained stable. During the last week, prices of tomatoes, eggs, tea, meat, flour and rice were increased while prices of chicken meat, sugar, onions, ghee, potatoes and red chili went down.
