KSE 100-index closes above 9,000 points

Mixed trend witnessed at Karachi Stock Market today; however, 100-index closed above 9,000 points level. Business was started in a negative way. Before Eid, investors and financial institutions preferred to sell the shares. KSE 100-index fell below 9,000 points; however, index moved upward due to limited buying. Index closed at 9,037 points at the end of trading with a decrease of 45 points. The business volume remained 129.5 million shares. Bank of Punjab was the volume leader.
