Increase in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets today. Gold prices on Friday surged to Rs 30,500 per tola, up by Rs 100 whereas price of 10 grams rose to Rs 26,142, up Rs 85 in the local market, traders said. In the world market, gold price increased by $1.50 per ounce to $1000.
