The quarterly figure was slightly higher than market consensus.Hyundai said its second quarter revenue grew 9 percent to 21.9 trillion won while its operating profit was 18 percent higher over a year earlier at 2.5 trillion won.The company said auto sales in Europe and the United States grew more than 10 percent during the first half of this year, offsetting lower sales in South Korea.
