Summary Import of crude oil to Pakistan has been decreasing despite shortage of the POL products.
According to a report, four lac seven thousand tonnes of crude oil and twelve lac twenty eight thousand tonnes of POL products were imported during May, which is 19 percent and 29 percent respectively lower as compared with last year’s figure. About 54 lac sixty five thousand tonnes of crude oil has been imported during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year, which is 20 percent lower than the last year’s import.
