24 percent increase in open interest in KSE

The open interest of future deals remained Rs 259.7 million during the last business week in the Karachi Stock Exchange. An addition of 24 percent and 907 basis points was recorded in deliverable futures open interest and future contracts spread respectively. An addition of Rs 8.3 million was recorded in open interest collectively at the end of the week. The share of average business volume for future deals increased 1.7 million shares.
