During the current week, the Karachi Stock Exchange remained bullish and KSE-100 Index closed at 8,011.31 points with overall increase of 139 points in the index. Increase of 200 points was recorded in the index on the first business day. Approval of $ 3.20 billion by IMF had a positive impact on the market. Due to contradictory statements about the interest rate cut and profit-taking, the market on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday remained volatile. During the current week, buying by the foreign investors was also seen. Foreign investors bought shares of worth $ 30.9 million while sold of $12.7 million dollars. Overall inflow of foreign investments was $18.4 million dollars.
