An increase of 33 percent is recorded in the automobiles sale during July 2009 as compared to the same month of the previous year. According to the PAMA statistics, in July 2009 collectively 9,600 vehicles were sold while in July 2008 some 7,006 automobiles were sold. During the first month of the current fiscal year 8,500 cars were sold while in July 2008, 5,670 cars were sold. Similarly in July 2009, an addition of 51 percent was recorded in car sale. Experts said that elimination of Federal Excise Duty was increasing the cars sale.
