Increase in gold prices was recorded in local and international markets today. Gold prices on Wednesday surged to Rs 29,620 per 12 grams, up by Rs 170 whereas price of 10 grams rose to Rs 25,388, up Rs 140 in the local market, traders said. In the world market, gold price increased by $2.50 per ounce to $966.50.
