ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Bushra Bibi has moved the Islamabad High Court seeking a comprehensive account of her medical condition and access to specialist treatment, citing concerns over her deteriorating eyesight.
In an application filed in connection with the £190 million case, she has requested the court to direct Adiala Jail authorities to submit an updated medical report, including details of her diagnosis, treatment and all relevant medical documents.
The application also seeks an immediate examination by an eye specialist and medical consultation in coordination with the jail's medical officer.
It states that her eyesight is deteriorating rapidly and argues that urgent medical intervention is necessary to prevent further damage to her vision.
She has further requested permission to obtain treatment from a specialist doctor at her own expense and called for the provision of appropriate medical facilities.
The petition was submitted through Barrister Salman Safdar, Salman Akram Raja and other members of her legal team. The Islamabad High Court has assigned it a diary number.
