Meanwhile, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has started publishing daily petroleum prices on its website as part of efforts to improve transparency and ensure that fluctuations in international oil markets are reflected in domestic prices more promptly.

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said the daily prices were calculated using a seven-day average of international market rates, in line with international practices.

The initiative is aimed at providing consumers with greater transparency regarding petroleum pricing and helping them track changes in fuel costs.
