ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan recorded average daily petrol production of 7,035 metric tonnes against sales of 21,583 metric tonnes from July to September 2026, according to figures presented to the Senate.

The written response also informed the Senate that refineries in Pakistan produce petrol and high-speed diesel using both locally sourced and imported crude oil.

The figures highlight the difference between domestic fuel production and reported sales, particularly in petrol. However, the data provided does not specify the contribution of imports to overall consumption or explain the reasons for the provincial differences in production and sales.
