QUETTA (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation in Minaz, an area of Balochistan’s Kech district, as part of the ongoing Operation Raddul Fitna 3, according to security sources.
Sources said the operation took place in the area after terrorists attempted to establish a blockade while taking two women with them.
Troops pursued the militants as they attempted to flee, leading to an exchange of fire. One militant was killed during the confrontation.
Security personnel also recovered weapons and ammunition from the deceased militant, the sources said.
Following the encounter, security forces launched clearance operations in the area to locate any other suspects who may still be present.
Security sources said operations in the province would continue as forces seek to eliminate remaining militant threats.
