LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sri Lanka batter Pathum Nissanka will miss the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan as he continues to recover from a left hamstring injury.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has named Lahiru Udara as Nissanka’s replacement for the series, according to the team update.
Udara is already in Pakistan as a member of Sri Lanka’s ODI squad, making him available to join the Test team.
Nissanka’s absence comes as Sri Lanka prepare for the two-Test contest against Pakistan. His ongoing recovery from the hamstring injury has prevented him from being included in the squad for the upcoming matches.
