ISPR released a special song on Kashmir Black Day, paying tribute to Kashmiris’ sacrifices, resilience and freedom struggle while reaffirming Pakistan’s support for their cause.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a special song to express solidarity with the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir on October 27, observed as Kashmir Black Day.

The song pays tribute to the resilience, courage and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people, highlighting their continued struggle for freedom and their hopes for a peaceful future.

Featuring emotionally evocative lyrics and an inspiring musical composition, the song portrays the determination of the Kashmiri people in the face of adversity.

The song seeks to honour the steadfastness of the people of occupied Kashmir and convey a message of hope and perseverance in their pursuit of freedom.

It also features prominent figures associated with the Kashmiri freedom movement, including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Burhan Wani, presenting them as notable personalities in the struggle.

The production further references the capture of Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan and missile-firing incidents to convey a message about Pakistan's defence preparedness and resolve.

The song concludes with a reaffirmation by Pakistan's military leadership of its support for the Kashmiri people's struggle against what it describes as Indian oppression.

The release coincides with Kashmir Black Day, observed annually on October 27 to commemorate the arrival of Indian forces in Srinagar on October 27, 1947, an event regarded in Pakistan as the beginning of a prolonged period of suffering for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
