LAHORE (Dunya News) – The original post-mortem report in the Hina Javed murder case has confirmed severe torture and multiple serious injuries on the victim’s body, as additional photographs documenting the alleged violence have also emerged.
According to the post-mortem report, injury marks were found on Hina Javed’s face, neck, arms and hands. The report also stated that her neck was fractured and her lips were split.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Interior has scheduled a meeting for October 29 to review the case.
The committee has summoned the SSP Investigation, the Additional Inspector General (AIG), the Regional Police Officer (RPO) and the victim’s family members to discuss the matter.
Hina Javed was allegedly tortured and murdered at her home on August 20.
Her family has expressed a lack of confidence in the police investigation and called for the formation of a judicial commission to ensure a transparent and impartial probe into the killing.
