KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon has said disappointing statements are being heard from an experienced politician like Maulana Fazlur Rehman, adding Maulana himself faced terrorism.

Sharjeel Memon said that his party has suffered at the hands of terrorists, and he hopes that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will take an ‘unambiguous’ stance against terrorism.

He said that PTI lost its government by having a soft corner for terrorists, the blood of innocent people kept flowing, young men kept getting martyred and the founder of PTI kept talking about opening offices for terrorists.

The senior provincial minister added that PTI is facing the consequences of its own decisions today.

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that the provincial government can be formed and run without Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, expressing disappointment over the latter’s recent speech and disagreeing with his stance on the imposition of governor’s rule in the province.

Talking to the media in Peshawar, Kundi said he was deeply disappointed with Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s speech delivered a day earlier, adding that he had not expected such remarks from a senior politician.
