BANNU (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed one terrorist during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.
The operation was conducted following confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of the terrorist, the sources said.
Security forces are maintaining close surveillance on the presence and movement of militants in the area to prevent their activities and restrict their operational capabilities.
They said ongoing counterterrorism operations are proving effective in disrupting militant networks and limiting their movement.
The operations are being carried out under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, which aims to strengthen efforts against terrorism.
Security forces have reiterated their commitment to eliminating terrorism from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that operations against militants will continue until the threat is eliminated.
