PSX ends week on bearish note as KSE-100 sheds 1,066 points

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended the business week on a negative note, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index shedding 1,066 points to close at 166,789.

During the week, the index fluctuated within a range of 3,834 points, reflecting volatility in the market.

The index recorded a weekly high of 169,486 points and a low of 165,651 points.

A total of 2.13 billion shares were traded during the week, with the value of transactions reaching Rs90 billion.

Meanwhile, the market’s total capitalisation declined by Rs156 billion to Rs18.569 trillion.
