PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) long march entered Charsadda on Saturday, the seventh day of the campaign, under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
According to sources, the convoy will pass through different areas of Charsadda before proceeding to Mardan, where participants are scheduled to stay overnight. The march will then move towards Swabi after the overnight stay.
Addressing party workers, Afridi said he would announce the next course of action at Swabi on October 13.
Under the announced schedule, caravans from Peshawar and Malakand regions, as well as Kohat Division, including Karak, would reach Swabi Interchange on Oct 13. Afridi said he had instructed parliamentarians and the party organisation to ensure workers from these areas joined the gathering.
He said caravans from Hazara region, Bannu Division and Dera Ismail Khan Division would arrive on Oct 14, when the party would announce its plan for moving beyond Swabi Interchange.
